DESCRIPTION:Please remember to vote! This primary election in Whatcom 
 County is extremely important for the enduring health (sustainability)
  of our community.  Issues such as a clean Lake Whatcom, the proposed
  coal terminal, sprawl, protecting farmers and farmlands, and dealing 
 with emergency management issues are all at stake. Please inform yours
 elf (don't believe everything you hear) and vote wisely.\nThe the loca
 l voters' pamphlet has been mailed out. It's also available online at 
 wei.secstate.wa.gov/Whatcom.\nOnly the executive and sheriff races wil
 l appear on everybody's ballots. The mayoral races will only appear on
  ballots for people who live inside those cities' limits.\nIf you have
  an address that lists Ferndale or Bellingham but you live outside cit
 y limits, you won't get to vote for mayor.\nMonday, Aug. 8, is the dea
 dline for in-person registration for people who want to vote in the pr
 imary election. The Auditor's Office is near the rotunda in the County
