DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Second Annual Washington State Perm
 aculture Convergence,September 18-20, 2009 to be held at Sahale Learni
 ng Center near Belfair, Washington - on the north shore of beautiful H
 ood Canal.\n\nWe will feature a weekend of networking, workshops and c
 onversations with friends and peers among Washington state's permacult
 ure community. Interested members of the public are also warmly welcom
 e to attend. Together we will share information, solutions, inspiratio
 ns, and insights!\n\nWorkshops on such diverse subjects as biochar cre
 ation and usage, Ecovillage development, local currency systems, fores
 t garden systems, large-scale installations, Brown's gas, water catchm
 ent, green roofs, the Transition Town and Anastasia movements, and oth
 er topics of interest for seasoned practitioners and newcomers alike.\
 n\nKeynote presenter will be Doug Bullock. TW members Cindi Landreth, 
 David MacLeod, and Leo Brodie (Transition Seattle) will present on Tra
 nsition Towns and Permaculture and David MacLeod will also present on 
 Energy and Permaculture.\n\nAttendance fees are $100-$70 on a sliding 
 scale, this includes camping and delicious home-cooked meals. To keep 
 costs down we are again asking participants to bring food (hopefully f
 rom their own gardens) to contribute to the communal kitchen. There ar
