 m the shocking eco-documentary, “The Last Mountain”. The horrific 
 storyline charts the catastrophic effects of coal\nmining in West Virg
 inia’s Coal River Valley, using mountaintop removal –\nliterally d
 ynamiting a mounting to scrape the coal from beneath. After a\nreporte
 d 500 Appalachian mountains have been\nobliterated through this mining
  process, the locals are fighting for support\nagainst the industry gi
 ant, Massy Coal. Not only are the Appalachian’s\ncrumbling, but wate
 r sources are being poisoned, flooding is rampant, sludge\ndumps are a
 ccumulating, tumor clusters in locals are developing, not to mention\n
 the detrimental effects from burning\nthe coal.\nJoin RE Sources for S
