 arm\nThis will be an informal afternoon info sharing and hands on sess
 ion with a early evening potluck to follow.\nAs Alexander Vido from ht
 tp://scytheworks.ca/index.html has said \" we view the scythe as a “
 gift from the past for the future” — a future which is approaching
  at a very rapid pace...\"\n\nThe first part of the event we will disc
 uss all things scythe related and see a few different types. There wil
 l be a chance to try them out and see them in action.\nIf you have a s
 cythe please bring it for show and tell. Please bring any other favori
 te power down tool that you like for that matter.\nLater we can have a
  pot luck and get to know each other. A bond that can become a part of
  Transition Laurel!\n\nPlease bring a dish to share and drinks if you 
 like. Bringing your own plates or bowls and utensils will save on pape
 r plates. We have a way to heat or cool any dishes that need it.\nKids
