 oin Sustainable Bellingham's new series of Roving HARVEST Parties - th
 e fall counterpart to our spring garden parties, where volunteers help
  their neighbors harvest their edible garden, and prepare their garden
 s for winter. These fun events consist of approximately 90 minutes of 
 gardening, followed by a shared meal. Everyone is welcome!\n To get on

 ested Items to Bring: Bring gloves, pitchforks, snips, and beverages 
 of your choice.\n ** Tasks: We will be rebuilding a compost system, p
 runing, weeding, and mulching. Volunteers for meal prep are most welco
 me!\n ** Food: We will provide a local farm-fresh meal and red wine. P

 E Sources! After many years at the forefront of Bellingham’s sustain
 ability and conservation movements, Re Sources is now also taking a bi
 g step toward greening our city spaces. With the help of Homestead Ha
 bitats and BUGS, RE Sources has taken the unused grassy areas behind T
 he RE Store and is converting it into a food producing, educational p
 ocket park! The lovely new RE Patch Community Garden houses eleven ra
 ised annual veggie beds, bordering edible perennial beds, and a mushro
 om-inoculated forest garden featuring primarily useful native plants (
