DESCRIPTION:Join Regenerate Whatcom for a hands-on educational event a
 t Edaphos Wildlife Sanctuary, a Rewilding Project hosted by Hunter Lyd
 on.  Location: 5351 Dinkle (Google) or Dinkel Rd (street sign), Belli
 ngham (off of E. Smith Rd). \r\n This month, come participate in our 
 regenerative work party, and see the regenerative efforts already in p
 rocess: ponds, swales, native plantings, composting, mulching, and mor
 e.\r\nThe work party will take place at the rewilding project of Hunte
 r Lydon. The project began in 2020 and hosted an Earthworks class led 
 by Brian Kerkvliet in 2022. Come see the value in bringing water onto 
 land and lend a hand with soil preparation for future plantings.\r\n\r
 \n11:00am - 12:00pm: Land tour\r\n12:00pm - 2:30pm: Soil Building and 
 Willow Forest Prep: Sheet mulching, woodchip spreading, trench compost
 ing prep.\r\n2:30pm - 3:00pm:  Regenerate Whatcom discussion circle\
 r\n The land is a seasonal wetland, so please bring rain boots and clo
 thes to get dirty in.\r\n\r\nIt's a raw site with no structures or bat
 hroom. There is a spot to relieve yourself under the cover of trees.\r
