SUMMARY:Pacific Rim Regeneration Summit
DESCRIPTION:Please mark your calendars. This is a place holder notific
 ation to let you know that Joy Gilfilen (of Uniting Creatives) is lead
 ing the effort to plan and host a Pacific Rim Regeneration Summit for 
 our entire bioregion!  The fact is, our Pacific Ocean is in peril and
  our international border and transportation routes will be impacted b
 y social, economic and political actions! This is about moving beyond
  all the issues that divide us, and learning how to cross pollinate ac
 ross all prior boundaries that divide us...so that we can find ways to
  unite us in ACTION!  We must team up across all sectors to protect 
 our fresh waters, our inland Salish Sea and Puget Sound waters, and th
 e 8 Million people who inhabit this bioregion.This means building on t
 he Regenerate Cascadia organizing work, enhancing our older Transition
  Towns work, our tribal nations work, etc.  We can work together to l
 earn to collaborate, to listen, then  support our tribes, small citie
 s, small enterprising proactive groups, and all the other bioregional 
 groups to help us build a local, living economy that protects the wate
 rs, nourishes Gaia, etc. It is essential that we learn the most effec
 tive ways to protect our animals, waterways, soils, farms, fish, food 
 supply --- and learn how to cross the pre-conditioned boundaries that 
 block us from sharing so we can build a strong economy (not an impriso
 ned one).  Summit is Sept. 25-27...with tutorials and trainings happ
 ening in advance and after, and we have a platform for gathering recor
