illage Green, 1207 10th St., Bellingham. Parking is limited; please ca
rpool, bus, walk, or bike to the event.\nThe No Coal Community Celebra
tion will feature speakers from Lummi Nation, with music by the Legend
ary Chucklenuts and guest performances from BandZandt and Tracy Spring
. There will also be an “Appreciation Station,” where participants
can create and sign posters and cards thanking Lummi Nation for their
leadership.\nA beer garden hosted by the event’s sponsor, Boundary
Bay Brewery, will raise funds to support RE Sources’ continued effor
ts to push for a more sustainable future at Cherry Point. RE Sources i
s rallying the community to encourage the Whatcom County Council to in
clude policies in the county’s Comprehensive Plan that would take a
step toward closing the door on new fossil fuel export projects for ge
nerations to come.\nAt 7:30 PM, participants will have the opportunity
to recreate an iconic photo from May 2011, when RE Sources first laun
ched its campaign against the coal terminal during a rally on the Fair
