DESCRIPTION:March's meeting will focus on homelessness and will also i
 nclude the unveiling of the Mayor’s Community Solutions Workgroup’
 s recommendations to enhance on Downtown Health and Safety. Local expe
 rts on homelessness will provide an overview of the homeless outreach 
 and housing services that operate throughout the City and in Downtown 
 Bellingham, followed by Q&A. They will also introduce the first instal
 lment of a new video series being produced locally: Homeless in Bellin
 gham.  Vanessa Blackburn, Community Outreach Coordinator for the City 
 of Bellingham, will also be on hand to publicly present the findings a
 nd recommendations of the Mayor’s Community Solutions Workgroup on D
 owntown Health and Safety. The workgroup convened selected community s
 takeholders and City staff to provide recommendations for these downto
 wn challenges and we will share and discuss the culminations of its wo
