 12, 2017 \n10-5\nIn cultures around the world, the heart has long bee
 n viewed as the seat of consciousness and the source of true expressio
 n. What happens when the heart's fire dies down? How do we rekindle it
 s flame?\nIn this workshop, we will explore how herbs and simple ritua
 l techniques can ignite, nourish, and support the heart. We will spend
  time with Damiana, Wormwood, Devil's Club, Calamus, and more. Come le
 arn how tobring back the blazing glory of the fire of the heart when c
 old winds have all but extinguished it.\nAbout Sean Donahue\nSean is a
  neurodivergent/NeuroQueer/Autistic semi-nomadic wild forest creature 
 whose range mostly extends through the unceded territories of Chinooka
 n, Coast Salish, Yakima and Klickitat peoples from Portland, OR to Vic
 toria, BC. Sean is an herbalist, a writer, a poet, a teacher, and a wi
 tch.\nSean is an initiated priest of the BlackHeart line of the Feri t
 radition of witchcraft. In this tradition one engages in ecstatic rela
 tion with ourselves in all of our parts – human, wild, and divine–
  and with theland, the gods, and the living world around us. The pract
 ice tends to ourselves, to each other, to our world, and to the turnin
 g of the stars in the sky. Sean's own priesthood involves deep work wi
 th ancestors and the human and other-than-human dead.\nFrom 2012-2016,
  Sean taught herbal energetics, mental health therapeutics, and phytoc
 hemistry at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, and supervised students i
 n clinics at the college and the Victoria Native FriendshipCenter. Sea
 n remain a member of the college's faculty, offering occasional worksh
 ops and courses.\nSean now has a private practice in Portland, OR, pro
 viding herbal and ritual support for trauma survivors, neurodivergent 
 people, activists,people experiencing spiritual crises and openings, V
 eterans, and other people at cultural edges and margins. Sean's practi
 ce is Queer positive,Trans positive, sex positive, poly positive, body
  positive, and trauma informed. Sean's ultimate prescription for every
 one is the abolition ofcapitalism, colonialism, patriarchy, white supr
 emacy, heteronormativity, binary gender enforcement, and compulsory ne
 urotypicality.\nSean is a columnist for Plant Healer magazine and a re
