DESCRIPTION:Transition Whatcom is pleased to announce the return of Jo
 e Brewer. Many will remember his powerful presentations in 2019, along
  with visits to Stillpoint at Beckside and Inspiration Farm.  Regener
 ate Cascadia and Transition Whatcom invite you to join us on Oct. 28 
 for an evening presentation at Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (BUF) o
 n reimagining a stewardship path that better serves our home and on O
 ct. 29 for tours of local regeneration projects.  These events are
  part of Regenerate Cascadia’s Bioregional Activation Tour. With st
 ops in 14 different locations around the Salish Sea, this tour will 
 serve as a kick-off to Regenerate Cascadia’s efforts to initiate a b
 ioregionalism movement in Cascadia and will be capped by an online B
 ioregional Summit scheduled for early November.The presentation on the
  28th will feature Joe Brewer, internationally renowned for his work i
 n regeneration and bioregionalism, community artist and weaver Clare A
 ttwell, and Brandon Letsinger, founder of Cascadia Now! and the Depart
 ment of Bioregion (of which Regenerate Cascadia is a project). \r\n\r\
 n\r\nJoe Brewer is a global leader in bioregional regeneration and sys
 tem complexity. He is a transdisciplinary scholar with a background in
  both earth sciences and cognitive sciences. He’s an inspiring speak
 er and leading-edge systems complexity thinker.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHe 
 will lead a series of conversations, workshops and presentations to we
 ave, highlight and empower amazing place-based networks, innovations a
 nd on-the-ground work happening across watersheds in the Cascadia bior
