SUMMARY:Invasive Plants Basketry Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We will meet downtown and walk to the harvest area a coupl
 e of blocks away to collect invasive wild clematis vines and then adjo
 urn to a warm location to learn the basics of two-hoop basket weaving 
 such as in the picture. Other techniques for making a garden or housep
 lant trellis will be demonstrated. Every participant will receive enou
 gh prepared (previously dried and soaked) clematis to complete one bas
 ket or trellis. There will be a break for potluck snacks. Please bring
  weather-appropriate clothing, work gloves, one-handed garden snippers
 , and a snack to share. Fee is $30 or work trade by pre-arrangement. E
 nrollment is limited to eight with any children ten and younger accomp
