  Farm to offer a workshop in hugelkultur (\"hugle-culture\"). This is 
 a technique for composting scrap wood and yard waste and planting a ga
 rden on top of it--this makes for raised beds loaded with organic mate
 rial, nutrients, air pockets for the roots of what you plant, and reta
 ining water. As the years pass, the deep soil of your bed becomes incr
 edibly rich and loaded with soil life. $10-$20 sliding fee. Carpooling
