SUMMARY:FERTILE GROUND Primitive Skills Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We do these workshops the first Sunday of every month. Lea
 rn and share skills such as how to identify edible, medicinal and pois
 onous plants, track animals, hunt, fish, weave baskets, make survival 
 shelters, flint knap, understand bird language, and other skills our a
 ncestors depended on to thrive in their ecosystems. These outings are 
 geared for adults. Bring a knapsack, first aid kit, water bottle, lunc
 h and appropriate clothing.\n\nTo attend, you will need to join Fertil
 e Ground. You can do this at the event or on our website. Membership i
 s $10 and is valid through the rest of 2009. Membership also allows yo
 u access to all Fertile Ground events including Bear Cubs (organized o
 utdoor games and activities for children), Post Petroleum Survival (le
 arn skills such as gardening, permaculture, preserving food, self-defe
 nse, bicycle repair, carpentry without power tools), Mountain Hikes, P
 apa Bear (men's group), Mama Bear (women's group), and many other even
