 heat of the fire which is cleaned out before baking, food is cooked as
  the heat is released into the chamber, the slow release of the heat c
 reates a unique texture to breads calazones pizzas and other baked goo
 ds.   Earthen ovens have been part of village life for centuries, pe
 ople would congregate to bake their loaves in communal ovens, meals we
