 ternational Scythe Network, promoting the use of scythes. Alexander is
  the co-creator of the video ”Rise of the Scythe”\n (from his web
 site http://www.scytheworks.com\n\nThe Workshop will Cover:\n- Selecti
 ng the right blade and a snath for the job\n- How to make the best use
  of what you’ve got\n- Setting up a scythe and a snath\n- Peening wi
 th a jig and basic freehand peening with hammer and anvil\n- Sharpenin
 g and honing\n- Mowing techniques\n- How to avoid damaging the blade\n
 - How to repair blade chips and cracks\n\nBring a scythe if you own on
 e to get pointers on how to adjust the snath and the blade, so it fits
  you for best result. Old scythes with dull rusty blades and ceased ad
 justing parts will be hard to fully address in the short time availabl
 e.\n\nHonor your tools and they will serve you well in return.\n\nI wo
 uld emphasize that Alexander is a master craftsman, as is readily appa
 rent from viewing his working portfolio of custom stairway installatio
 ns at the website. As such he chooses to limit registration to eight p
 articipants at each location so that he can spend time coaching and pe
 rfecting the skills we will learn with each participant individually.
