  as 48 million tons of coal per year.  That’s right – coal.  Wha
 t you likely haven’t heard, is that the Whatcom County Council will 
 be voting on a resolution in favor of this project TONIGHT at their bi
 -weekly meeting.  That’s because it was added as an agenda revision
  at 3:15pm yesterday and made public sometime after that. \nThe Counc
 il is voting with virtually no information about how this project woul
 d affect public health, clean air and water and traffic in Whatcom Cou
 nty. The Council is moving ahead based on assurances by Peabody Coal a
 nd the project developer who stand to make big profits from this proje
 ct. Is that how we should be doing business in Whatcom County?\nConcer
 ned?  \nAttend the County Council Meeting this evening.  Public com
 ment will begin at 7:10pm in the Council Chambers, 311 Grand Ave.\nCal
