 to healthy food. Providing gardening and cooking lessons for close to 
 6,000 students in 21 schools across Whatcom County, Common Threads pro
 motes a seed-to-table approach to food production, good nutrition, and
  environmental stewardship. Most of Common Threads' programs take plac
 e on public school grounds, during the school day in collaboration wit
 h classroom teachers and food service staff. Additionally, Common Thre
 ads offers gardening and cooking programs after school and over Spring
