SUMMARY:BlueGreen Waterfront Coalition Meeting
DESCRIPTION:There was so much energy that we agreed to follow up on Mo
 nday, July 1st, at RE Sources' SLC, 2309 Meridian Street, above the RE
  Store in Bellingham, and continue our work.Since the last meeting, th
 ere've been a number of important developments. The Port and City are 
 moving the current iteration of the plan much more quickly than reason
 ably expected, and it still does not incorporate the community's inter
 est. After receiving a virtual rubber stamp from the Planning Commissi
 on, the City Council is expected to take up the plan this summer. Th
 e agenda will follow up on items for action from the last meeting and 
 explore upcoming opportunities for involvement on the waterfront. The
 re will also be the opportunity for announcements from the group and i
 nitiating other projects related to the waterfront. Light refreshments
