 g a landscape from local transit authorities, getting restoration perm
 its, and how to get local volunteers involved in the project. \r\nIt 
 turns out, local transit authorities \"own\" a lot of the land that us
 ed to be held in commons--adopting these landscapes is a good start to
 ward restoring these community spaces and local environments!  This is
  a case study in wild tending, #permaculture, social forestry, and co
 llaborating with existing government authorities.   This may be most 
 applicable to people located in the United States and Canada, but othe
 rs may learn and feel inspired from the discussion as well.   There w
