  now you have!She is a wise and beloved elder who has dedicated her li
 fe to environmental activism, Buddhism, teaching, and writing. Along t
 he way she has created an open-source body of work called the Work Tha
 t Reconnects (WTR), to empower people to stay open and tender to the p
 ain of the world without becoming paralyzed by it:\"Drawing from deep 
 ecology, systems theory, and spiritual traditions, the Work That Recon
 nects (WTR) builds motivation, creativity, courage and solidarity for 
 the transition to a sustainable human culture.\" Mary Ann Percy, a lo
 cal Earth protectress, end-of-life servant, and student of Joanna Macy
  will soon be offering a workshop exploring the Work That Reconnects.Â
  There will be experiential practices, movement, inspirational teachin
 gs, and simple rituals. We'll summon our capacity for connection and c
 ourage to respond to Earth's call and the good work that is ours to do
 . The gathering will be on October 30th from 1:00-5:00 at the Belltow
 er Community Center (a.k.a. the Purple Church). There is a suggested 
 donation of $15-50 but no one will be turned away due to cost. All are
