SUMMARY:A Beach Naturalist Ode to the Night
DESCRIPTION: \nWhat do you see when you go to the beach on a regular 
 day? Perhaps some sand buckets and maybe a hermit crab. After sundown?
  Nothing but a closed gate. \n \nOn the 29th of January at Larrabee 
 State Park at 7pm, join Doug Stark, local marine biologist and Beach N
 aturalist extraordinaire, in opening the gate to discovery of a new wo
 rld of critters that come out only when the tide had dropped and the s
 un has set.\nDoug and Beach Naturalist volunteers will lead small grou
 ps down rocky park trials to explore the beach at Wildcat Cove. Partic
 ipants will explore Larrabee's shore flashlights in hand, seeking out 
 the intertidal zone's more elusive denizens.  \nGetting there:  Ente
 r the park using the upper day-use area just inside the main gate.\n
