Looking for Cat Sitter in Everson- August

I am having a difficult time finding someone to check on my cats while away in August for 5 days. We need someone who is responsible, has some references and experience. We live in Everson and all the commercial places want to add $20 a day to their regular fee just to come here which I find absurd. 
Our two, indoor only cats are very easy to care for. they basically need food in their dish and the rest is about keeping the house cool. Someone needs to turn on fans in the morning and turn them off in the later evening. We do not want someone to stay overnight or to spend a lot of time here. 

Our budget allows $30 a day. If you are able to, or know someone in the area who has experience please let me know. It shouldn't be so difficult to find reliable pet sitting outside of Bellingham and I don't understand why these commercial places take advantage of it.
