Looking for a place to offer a nature-oriented small group retreat in late August

Hi,

I'm looking for somewhere to offer a retreat for 6-12 people (2 days and 2 nights). It needs to be fairly quiet, with some undeveloped land, have space for tents and also indoor space to meet and eat if the weather is terrible. Hopefully also not too far away or too expensive. Any ideas?

Thanks, Emily

Do you know Bill Sterling? Maybe contact him about renting his place near Lake Whatcom. Tent spaces, surrounded by woods with caves :)

Try Camp Brotherhood, which is now Treacy Levine Center.  They have a picnic shelter in their camping area.  They are about 4o min from Bellingham.  They are 220 acres and I know WSU has used their undeveloped land for natural studies and wildlife identification.  Other groups have used the land for spiritual retreats and solo time in the woods. 360.445.5061  Good Luck!
