Does anyone have experience dealing with garlic rust...organically?
I got to the bulbs late, all were affected.  Just started harvesting some today.

I still got some great sized bulbs. Can they still be eaten?

All other aliums have not been affected.
What do I need to do to the bed they were planted in?  It is still covered with the straw they were mulched in?
Can I plant anything in it for a fall crops?
What about planting in it next season?
Can I use some of the bulbs for planting next year or do I need to start a new crop?

thanx for you help & suggestions...

Hi Suki,

From our experience, rust does not affect the garlic at all. It still tastes wonderful and stores just as well as garlic without rust.
