Event Description

Our feelings about what is happening in the world, when minimized or silenced, can create numbness, isolation and despair. When shared, we experience our connection with each other, and arouse the passion and knowing we need, in order to creatively engage in the healing of our world.

This experiential circle is based on Buddhist and activist, Joanna Macy's work. We will: experience how intertwined we are with the larger whole; share our fears, grief and hopes for our world; explore new perspectives; empower ourselves and each other to engage the world in ways that are grounded in our own knowing, unique to each of us and nourishing to all.

Emily Farrell, MA LMHC works as a psychotherapist in private practice. She attended a 9 day facilitator's intensive with Joanna Macy in August 2012. Emily has many years experience with meditation and spiritual retreat in nature, ecopsychology.

Sliding Scale: $70-$85, some scholarships available.
