We are thankful for the many skill sharers, musicians and performers, barter folks, volunteers, vendors & nonprofits that are coming together to make this a joyous, entertaining, and informative event! This will be a fun festival about teaching and learning all kinds of useful, handy, and practical skills. Years ago, lots of people knew how to repair and sharpen tools, make a braided rug, raise chickens, make soap, build a fence, make simple toys, and much more. The goal of SkillShare is to help revive some of those skills, showcase some new ones, and provide a place where all of us can come learn from people more experienced in these crafts and trades.  BE A SPONSOR AND HELP BUILD LOCAL SELF-RELIANCE! Your support will ensure a successful SkillShare this year, which means an even better faire next year. Be a part of the start of something great- sponsor SkillShare! Your donation will be tax-deductible, too.  To find out how, email whatcomskillsharefaire@gmail.com

HELPING HANDS- WE WELCOME YOU! It takes a small army to pull of an event like this, and while we have some people already signed up we could use more! You can go to this site and sign up ( www.SignUpGenius.com/go/4090849A8AB2FA20-volunteers/3361870 ) - you can help out at the gate, with security, set up, clean up, performer support, staffing the main tent, and more. If you have any questions you can email Jean at whatcomskillsharefaire@gmail.com.” - Kate Clark Team.
