I almost majored in soils, but back then the universities only offered the study of dead soil, as in no life, just the mineral/chemical non-living matter....so much more is now known on compost and still the mysteries of life remain!

yep, I thought that might be you. we met in BreakThru. I thought you were going to Montana to study biochar? you're right, I think we do have a lot in common, and I remember thinking so at the time, although I don't remember telling you. Glad to be getting to know you more.
