At our meeting we also brainstormed what we all might mean by 'Community Living'. Here are a few examples of what came up:
1. Intentional Communities seems to be an umbrella type of term.
2. Eco-villages (or smaller ones might be called eco-hamlets)
3. Co-Housing
4. Cooperative Housing
5. Shared Housing
6. Intentional Neighborhoods
7. Theme housing - e.g. housing seniors, differently-abled folk, women, children in need, etc...

Anyone remember any more?
http://www.findhorn.org/index.php?tz=420 The Findhorn Foundation community is an experiment in conscious living, an education centre and an ecovillage. Based mainly at The Park, Findhorn and at Cluny Hill College in
the nearby town of Forres, the community extends also to individuals, businesses and organisations within a 50-mile radius of The Park and to the islands of Iona and Erraid on the west coast of Scotland.
I want to learn more about what goes on at Kibbutz's - here's where my education has begun. I will post more as I know more.
This particular part of what I read resonates REALLY strongly for me ~
"the fulfillment of the idea 'from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs'; a home for those who have chosen it.".
