Hi Megan!  Hope you & Virginia will connect with our online network- 'transition Northshore Squalicum Stewart Neighbors" located on our transition website at-

http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/northshoresqualicum

Hope you can take time to sign on to the website & click the 'Join' button, this group was created about a year ago, and slowly I'm getting a email list created.

I can click you on as an online adminstrator, and we can both add news & info useful to protecting & restoring our valley watershed that extends all the way to the sea in B'ham.  So far, we have 6 transition family-neighbors, and about a dozen on my email list.   We could consider also seeing if  the Silverbeach, Emerald Lake, &  Mt. Baker Hwy side of Squalicum would be interested in connecting in with our efforts.

I'll be much more motivated to use the group site if both you & Virginia are supporting this.

Call and come visit anytime and I'll share tea & nourishment and offer restful space in our garden sanctuary!

Megan! Thanks for your encouragement! I've also posted a seperate discussion that lists Resources. The Ted Talk video of Paul Stamets is good to view in case you've not seen it before!
All this on top of GMO seeds being added to our lands!

Hi Megan! Welcome to the seed-savers group! I think we may be neighbors within bicycling distance, as we live in the Squalicum & Stewart Mt. watersheds! I hope you'll come visit sometime!
I'm very active in the garden & at garden-work parties. There is an "Organic Gardeners...Permaculturist" group also on this website. Take a look under the "Events" tab. Maybe see you Sunday at potluck at Davids!

Hi Megan,

We are having a potluck at my house on Sunday the 25th. We will be having conversations about food as a continuation of the Great Unleashing - but mostly I just want to have fun. Hope you can make it, and if not I want to have you visit another time. 1589 Mt. Baker Hwy. 5 pm.

take care,
David

Hi Megan - - so good to see you here. I hope we can run into each other soon - I'm eager to meet Noah too and would love to introduce you to my Rachel and her family. How's the garden coming - I would love to give you some seeds or transplants from my place.
all best wishes to you and yours..
