Happy Birthday David!  Seed swap in planning stages for 3rd or 4th weekend of Jan...We are looking for a new location.  Most likely we'll need help setting up tables & chairs & takedown too.

I'll be traveling with my tent & garden hand tools to warmer lands from Jan-March!  Give a call if you come to the islands!

Hi David, I've just changed our group name to:

Nice profile pic. It's very expensive. Photographers make twice what models do, so you can subtract the $20,160 from the $40,320 and send me $20,160. As you can see, I take my own profile pictures ; )

Hi David,
I'm going out to the farm today to check on the beans. But last year they took forever to come up (it was dry) and I planted them late, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'll give you a report. Are you moved yet? I was trying to coordinate getting you and Heather out to my fields but it's too chaotic to coordinate with others...maybe when my crazy census work schedule is over in a few weeks.

Just composted my Tyfon cover crop out at sandies and put in tomatoes. the cover crop looked awsome! (but no buckwheat seemed to have sprouted & I thought I'd planted some). I'm sensing some of my buckwheat seeds are not very viable.....I"m understanding now how important the actual mix of seeds is in the seed balls... we really needed to have somthing that not only could act as nurse crops, but also grow fat root in the soil....next seedball fling for sure will scrounge some radish or tyfon to add to mix...I've not yet done my second toss....Let me know about the hulu hoe, or if you need a loan of the broad fork in the future.

Hi David,
Yes, it's in the same place in my living room, and I'm happy to get it back to you. What shall we do? I can bring it to the next potluck at your place. Otherwise call to coordinate schedules if you will be in town - 738-2148 or 312-5700 x 204.

David,

Sorry the Ning as not as user friendly as desired sometimes. I no of no work arounds, other than to save your document as an html file (you can do that at Google Docs), and then copy the html code, open the blog post, click on html, and paste in the html code and save that way.

Hi David,
I am so glad you're interested in working on the timeline for the Hall of Hope! Can you send me your email or other contact info besides this system so I can cc: you with the other folks I am emailing about this? It will be a fun historical interview process.

Hi David,
It's funny that I met you a couple times last week - you were recommended to help me with a timeline for Bellingham's environmental movement for the Hall of Hope at the Great Unleashing. Sounds like fun, eh? What do you think??

Hi David, I hope your back has recovered from the 22 yards of compost. I was just out there today with 2 classes doing more sheet mulching and they had some much fun getting dirty! This Saturday, 10 -1 we're having another sheet mulching extravaganza...this time at Squalicum High School. Only 15 yards of compost this time ;) Maybe I'll see you there. Cheers!

How awesome. I put it as the background on my computer.
Thank you David.

note:
Just to let you know if you are researching and such, the personality types enneagram is a very different use of the enneagram than what I was showing you and I disregard it.

Hope your leeks are tasty & nutritious.
How much did your biggest squash weigh this year?
