I got your message on my phone just now. I know I won't be going out on Saturday, but I think something might happen on Sunday. I'm going to try to do it at the same time that others will be doing the same so we can combine efforts. I'll call on Saturday night to let you know what's up.
Hey Travis! I have a tad bit of bicycle geek in me, having worked as a mechanic once...So I have more than one bicycle I care for, including the 2nd bike I ever had in my life...which is still my main touring bike that has seen a lot of country.
When we get going on the bicycle powered generator, what working parts of a bike do we need...I'm wondering if I should yield up on of my working bikes, or if we can gather parts....MMmm I'm also thinking we might want to start a discussion thread so others can easier view & join in.

Hey, it was good to meet you tonight. I'll keep you posted on the plans for fruit picking around town. It will likely be this weekend or next, or both perhaps. If you send me your phone number I'll call you when I know what is going on. My number is 927-8957.
Hi Travis! Your skills & experience are so valuable! Would you be interested in helping co-create a bicycle powered battery that can run a blender, or coffee maker, etc, sometime at Inspiration Farm? There are a few of us interested in doing this in the future.
I've just returned from 3 weeks camping & exploring the Olympic Peninsula being immersed in the life within the ancient forests, and doing ecological field studies of the forest succession & diversity. I also attendined a Primitive Skills weekend & the Permaculture Convergence.
I'm just barely getting back online again. I will look forward to meeting you in person and working & sharing together in community!
