Hey everyone. I want to see what everyone thinks about the viability of this product. Does anyone have any experience with one. My main HOPE for it would be using it as a stop gap between an oil crisis and whatever alternate energy arises. Here are a couple of good websites to read up on them.

Scott-------I've solved the reception issue for the wireless connection, still, I receive e-mails only at this time. Do you have a telephone number? I am about to do another burn soon so that I can process the hydrophobic charcoal to biologically active charcoal. This is not "activated charcoal" which is sterile. I am looking for clean, dry wood scrapes to use if you know where I can get some. This last burn was based on the same principles as a pit burn operates on and was accomplished in a barrel (the backyard is fully saturated at this time). What I better appreciate now is containing the heat for reuse. I do have my mental blocks. Doing is really the only thing that leads to solutions-------Larry @ 319-1024

   Thanks for commenting. I'm not planning on building one as of yet. I can only afford to learn about it for now. So yeah I would like to see what you've got going on.

Scott-------The gasifier that you are looking at is way to expensive for me to consider. I have been able to gasify wood in a earthen pit. It's a very simple technique. I realize that more work needs to be done to produce practical gas production for home or shop space still I can produce wood gas.
