Thanks, friend. I miss you and the girls, as well. I am actually with WAVA. I applied for a grades 6-12 Literacy Specialist position with Omak WAVA and when I found I would be next to be hired for my old job in Steilacoom (in maybe November or so), but would not get my kids back, I took the literacy job when it was offered. :) :( So. I'm employed, and still working with WAVA kids, but in a different way. I'll still get to be at some outings, so I hope to see you guys. Who'd you get for teachers?
Welcome Susan! I don't know if we've met, but I noticed you live in the Birchwood neighborhood ( a great place to garden!). There is a Transition Birchwood group on this site that you might be interested in connecting with. Here is the link to help you find it: http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/transitionbirchwood
Also, you might be interested in this Saturadays TW fall harvest picnick/potluck event found under our Events page. Be sure to say Hi if you see me in the garden..or walking in the woods!
