How are you currently involved in the Transition?

Playing music with my young sons at the Bow Little Market, teaching music at the Bow Little Market, directing a nonprofit working in sustainability issues, teaching a course on Climate Change and Sustainable Energy, collaborating with Chuckanut Transition.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

Climate Change and Energy Sustainability are critical issues of our time. I am deeply concerned about the future of human and all life on the planet, particularly my two young sons' future.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I have worked in the sustainability field since 1986, and hold a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary Environmental Studies. I am an environmental researcher, and also am a nationally certified home energy efficiency specialist. I have also been trained to help businesses improve their energy efficiency.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
