I am the author of Whole Music, a non-fiction book that weds ethnomusicology with sound healing with the mission of raising music/sound consciousness on the planet. I am also a transformational astrologer.
Other than that I live a sustainable life, don't own or drive a car, don't have a cell phone, recycle, compost, re-use, walk or take the bus and support bicycles as alternative transportation. I also support urban farming though I entertain no desire of farming myself.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I would like to see the end of fossil fuels and see a society based in permaculture principles. I would love to live 100 percent sustainable and practice earth stewardship. My life mission is to build a sound healing/music preservation with urban farming coop in Bellingham.
I'm also interested in getting music and sound as part of the environmentally-conscious conversation.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Since moving to Bellingham, I've made the transition from arts journalist to metaphysical practitioner with an emphasis on healing with music, astrology, and teaching others how to work with spirit animal.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
On the Center for Local Self Reliance or the Sustainable Bellingham site.
