- How are you currently involved in the Transition?
- I want to make my home town, Point Roberts, a Transition town. We have a community garden going already and tons of other projects in the making.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I am concerned about my future as well as the rest of humanity. I want to start making physical progress for securing a beautiful and healthy future.
- Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
- I've been gardening since I was 2 or 3 with my grandpa, who has been a farmer for almost 80 years. My goal in life is to become an architect who creates "zero-energy" homes, homes that are completely self sufficient in their energy needs. For now I've taken a few sustainability classes and plan to take more.
- In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

It was nice to meet you the other day at the Fairhaven class, and it's great to see you here on Transition Whatcom! That is so cool that you will be starting a Transition Initiative in Point Roberts-- I know there are some serious sustainability folks there who came to one of our Transition workshops and were considering starting a TI there. On this website, you can go to the "Members" tab and do a search for "Point Roberts" and find other people in the area that way.
Hope to see you at the Great Unleashing on April 10th-- it will be amazing!
