Considering moving to Bellingham and if I do I'd like to be involved.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm involved in grassroots ecological and social change projects in New York-- radical reduction of waste as well as use of resources; promoting bicycling as a true transportation alternative; community sustainability including gardening, composting, livable streets. I love the idea of a positive message on resource reduction and reskilling, made accessible even to non-"radicals".
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
textile repair/reuse; seed saving; wild food identification and use; food preservation; composting; plus PR, organizing and web skills.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Flatbush, Brooklyn (NY)
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

I want to find and communicate with other grassroots social changers, to discover if Bellingham is the right place for me to spend the next decade (or more) of my life.
