Profile Information

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am directly interested in strengthening our local economies and creating more ways we can be more self-sufficient. One way I am working towards this end is that my company, Scratch and Peck Feeds, is buying our grains direct from local farmers in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish counties.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
East Bellingham
Your Personal Website (if you have one)

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I have been contacted by a few members who are interested in what I am doing with my feed company and my local mill.
Please note that you do not have to answer all of the above questions in order to join, and you can always come back later to edit your profile. If it's all too many questions for now, please provide a short answer below on why you'd like to join this site (or a summary of the above, if answered).
Create relationship with more local residents and farmers to provide a local outlet for locally grown grains and locally produced organic livestock feeds.
