Chicken Talk

Anyone on this interested in giving a good talk on keeping chickens up in Lynden?   I could probably do it, but am wondering if there is anyone out there that has all the info (legal issues, etc.) compiled so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.  See More

Welcome Dave!  Good to hear of your intention to initiate a transition-lynden!

I like your tree-fungi pic...looks like possibly a Ganoderma oregonense.

There is a mushroom event this Sat, info under the TW Events page.

You also might be interested in the Earth Gardens network on this site.

One of the most successful transition neighborhoods, is Goshen.  They are very connected and hardly do any online communications here.  You might consider asking some of their members, or the Transition Ferndale members, what their experience & thoughts are initiating a transition Lynden. Ferndale offers monthly movie nights at the credit union!  Keep us posted on your Lynden neighbors progress.  Have fun connecting!
