HAPPY VALLEY SCHOOL COMMUNITY GARDEN
A raised bed school community garden will be constructed on January 17
(MLK Holiday) at Happy Valley Elementary School. We need to lay down 4
layers of cardboard to cover the grass, a total of 5,000 sq. ft of
cardboard! Then the garden beds will be built on top, with paths in
between. We particularly would like larger pieces of cardboard.
Some merchants may have some good cardboard that they can set aside for
a pickup later this week. If you've got large cardboard pieces headed to
the recycling bin, consider donating it to this worthy project!
Please call Wendy Scherrer at h-715-2993 or c-319-9518 and she will
arrange for a pickup of your cardboard. Any day this week.
