Join us the 3rd Tuesday of the month for a film specially chosen to highlight Transition-related issues, and some of the ways individuals, families, and communities are building resilience and self reliance.

We have a sold out showing of Occupy Love screening this week! Very exciting. Too keep our momentum going we need YOUR help!

What should our next movie be? Add your suggestions and respond to those already posted.

If you are interested in helping to with the TW movie project indicate your willingness with a comment below. We need help screening potential movies, working with venues, identifying co-sponsors, posting flyers, hosting discussions, etc- let us know if you would like to help!

I understand the location has changed for the Age of Stupid film showing at WWU. I'm sending Sustainable Bellingham newsletter subscribers to this page where hopefully someone will post the new location.

Hey all - We have booked our WWU showing of Age of Stupid (Formerly called "Crude") at Arnzen Hall 3, April 7. We'll have a double showing at the Fairhaven Firehouse mid-late March- stay posted for a date coming in a couple days.

Very cool!! Sorry I couldn't make it, but maybe I'll get to the Ferndale showing.

The film really was inspirational. Now I need to order an Amish catalog!

What Rob didn't mention is that he donated his cost to purchase the film rights- so we ended up with $278 that will go into the Great Unleashing fund. Thank you, Rob, and thanks so much for following through on getting the film and the location. After the Ferndale screening, we can show the film two more times. Rob suggested we (or the Food Security Workgroup) might want to show it after the Unleashing as well.

The first showing of "Homegrown" in Whatcom County (@ the Firehouse PAC in Fairhaven) was a sold-out success! But if you missed it or couldn't get in, there is another chance to see this inspirational and heartwarming film about the amazing urban farm family, the Dervaes. Join Transition Ferndale on Wednesday,2/17/10 for a potluck and movie showing at WECU-Ferndale, 5659 Barrett Road at the I-5 Main Street Exit. 5:30-6:30 optional potluck and idea sharing. At 6:30 pm view Homegrown.

If "Homegrown" sells out during our one showing one-night-only presentation at the Firehouse PAC in Fairhaven, check the listing for Ferndale Transition. They are scheduling a showing in February at the Ferndale WECU.
