Rank goals and objectives

Review maps showing existing and future bike routes – provide ideas for new facilities

Identify important destinations for bicyclists

Learn about bicycle facility types including bike lanes, bike boulevards, shared-use pathways and more

Submit ideas for what should be included in the plan

Complete an online survey to assist with plan development

At the 6:30 p.m. presentation, staff and consultants will provide an overview of the planning process.

Valet bicycle parking will be provided by everybodyBIKE. Look for the everybodyBIKE tent across Halleck Street from the school front entrance.

The Bellingham Bicycle Master Plan will take one year to complete and will identify a detailed strategy toward creating a safe, well-connected network of bicycle facilities and supportive programs to make bicycling a viable transportation choice for all ages and ability levels.

“The City looks forward to this opportunity to create a bicycle plan that reflects the needs of all members of our community,” said Ted Carlson, Public Works Director.

Once adopted, the bike plan will be incorporated into the Transportation Element of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Hi,
Here is the pdf I mentioned showing bike routes, sidewalks, and other major infrastructure in Bham. It is the Greenstreets map. Here is how you can turn layers on and off in order to more easily see details.
Hi,
Here is the pdf I mentioned showing bike routes, sidewalks, and other major infrastructure in Bham. It is the Greenstreets map. Here is how you can turn layers on and off in order to more easily see details.
When you open the pdf, you will notice on the left hand side of the document, there are several tabs...one of which is called "Layers" (the double diamond icon). If you click on this
tab, a list of all the layers in the map will appear. You can "turn on" and "turn off" layers in the map by simply clicking on the eye next to the layer name. This way you can turn off the trails and bike lanes or vice versa...or whatever combination you would like to view.
