I totally agree with you J. C. and with the Law of Attraction you get more of what you focus on, so if we want to see a peaceful and harmonious world, it's better to visualize that scenario, rather than watching the media rehash dark events.

Consequently, trying to search for meaning in these events isn't healthy either.  Things happen in the world that are beyond our understanding.  Stay centered in your heart, express compassion and know that it isn't selfish to distract yourself with the things that bring you joy.  For anyone following the Abraham/Hicks teachings, this is finding joy will ultimately bring joy and peace to the world.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families in Boston. I know it is too soon but I want to caution you against staying glued to the tv set. Once you know what is going on there is little more to learn. Watching the footage over and over only feeds fear. This is the work of a miserable person(s) who wants you to be miserable too. Don't give him the satisfaction. Go hug your family. Talk to your neighbors. Delight in your community. Do one thing today to make the world a little less fear filled and a little more friendly. - arjhan David

Celebrate Earth Day with NSEA!

Join us at our work party on Landingstrip Creek
April 20th from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Help NSEA, the Whatcom Conservation District and Whatcom Land Trust as we work to plant hundreds of native trees and shrubs along the bank of this South Fork Nooksack River tributary located in Acme. We will be giving away FREE t-shirts to the first 200 volunteers and REI will be raffling off a tent to one lucky volunteer! Take a trip to the mountains and do your part for Earth Day and wild salmon! From Bellingham, head east on WA-542 E/Mt. Baker Highway for about 15 miles. Turn right onto Highway 9, just outside Deming, and follow for about 7 miles. Turn right on Turkington Rd. Parking is available at Acme Elementary School. Look for NSEA signs and shuttle. Gloves, tools and refreshments will be provided!
