I have CSA shares for sale.  My farm is called Neighborhood Harvest and is located in Bellingham.  Pick up your produce in the Columbia, Lettered Streets, and Sunnyland Neighborhoods.  You can also pick up on my main plot on Rural Ave or get your veggies delivered to your door or workplace.  Payment plans available.  To sign-up for a share and learn more about me and my farm, visit http://neighborhoodharvest.csasignup.com

Are you a gardener with questions about gardening? Do you enjoy learning by doing hands-on work along side someone who is knowledgeable rather than using a book?

Consider the C.I.A.: Citizen Involved Agriculture at Inspiration Farm. We are designing this project to give newish gardeners and farmers some hands-on experience working with a knowledgeable farmer - Brian Kerkvliet - at his farm just north of Bellingham. In addition to what you learn directly from working at the farm, there will be time to ask your specific gardening questions. And as crops become ready to harvest, participants will get a share of it.

There is no charge for participating in this project. But we would like a group of people who are enthusiastic and can commit to coming to most of the weekly work sessions from March through September. That's just one 2.5 hour work session per week. (It's possible to make special arrangements for those who are serious about participating but can't make all the weekly sessions.) For our farmer, it is best to have a group of motivated workers whom he can rely on to show up at the scheduled time and give some good energy to the farm.

Hey All

I have a friend who flew here from out of town who would like to attend the event at Nancy's Farm Sunday 1/29 at 2 pm. He is looking for a ride/carpool with someone else who is going to the event. He lives in Fairhaven, but can take the bus into downtown if that's any easier for you.

His number 707-489-4640.

We'd like to add 2 or 3 more hens to our little flock. I know some people do chick orders and have to do a minimum order, and not want as many as they will be getting. So if you plan to do this and want to sell us a few, let me know.

Potatoes from our garden-- Offered:

We have a lot of potatoes that we grew last year in our organic garden. We have way more than we can eat. They are still in great condition and we had virtually no potato disease. There are reds, bakers, whites and yellows.

We are open to a trade or $ or gifting....what ever feels good mutually.

The TW Food Coop community shopping day is this Saturday (Dec 17th). TW receives a portion of all sales that day as a donation. If you are interested in doing a bulk buy it will increase our donation. Post anything you are interested in purchasing in bulk here- let's see if we get enough interest to do some bulk purchases.

I am looking for a small place to live after the holidays are over... I am a single and responsible person. I work and go to school.

If you have a guest house or something of the sort that you are seeking to fill. let me know. Mind you, I am seeking the perfect place where I can ground myself for a while as I continue my studies.

My main source of transportation is my bike so I would prefer a place in town areas.

I love to cook and work in the garden, as well. I love the out doors and am seeking like minded others.

Thanks! I look forward to your response.
