Did you know that WellSpring Community School, located in the Happy Valley neighborhood on 24th Street, was originally built in 1921 as the South Side Community Club. Its mission was to gather enough people together to raise money to pave the streets in Fairhaven!
In time, it became the hub of the community and in the early 1950's they added the stage area on for theater and special events.
In that tradition, WellSpring School is renting its large COMMUNITY SPACE- complete with kitchen and a small stage and smaller classroom spaces located in the building next door for Transition Whatcom members to hold workshops, meetings, and special events.

I hope this rental situation is working out for you. The school is a great space and I hope Transition Whatcom members and their colleagues take advantage of your offer.
