I watched the presentation by Jim McCabe, and I thought it was not only a great summary of of the peak oil problem brought home to roost, but I was also impressed by his inserting into the record the role Transition Whatcom and the Transition movement is taking on the issue.<br />

I was also heartened to see the relative positive response by council members and by the Public Works director. Maybe I am a political innocent, but I really thought a number of council…

Any chance the presentation and subsequent council discussion could be excerpted and posted on the TW site or YouTube? I think everyone in Whatcom County should view it, which seemed to be one of the sentiments expressed in the council discussion---"We need to get the word out to the community."
