<p>I just sent an inquiry to investigate the possibility of screening Velcrow Ripper's "<strong>Occupy Love</strong>." Many have seen some of his shorts that have been on youtube, featuring Charles Eisenstein, etc. Is a film about the Occupy movement appropriate for a Transition group to sponsor? <p>I just sent an inquiry to investigate the possibility of screening Velcrow Ripper's "<strong>Occupy Love</strong>." Many have seen some of his shorts that have been on youtube, featuring Charles Eisenstein, etc. Is a film about the Occupy movement appropriate for a Transition group to sponsor? Judging by the excerpts I've seen so far, I'd say yes in this particular case. I see the film as being about much more than the Occupy movement. It is the third of a 3 part trilogy (including <a href="http://www.scaredsacred.org/" target="_blank">Scared Sacred</a> and <a href="http://www.fiercelight.org/" target="_blank">Fierce Light</a>). I imagine bringing in other co-sponsors, including, of course, Occupy Bellingham.</p>

I thought so too. It kind of both leaves you speechless, but the impact also creeps up on you a few days later. I think its the guy looking "at you" from through the screen...a bit uncomfortable!<br />
