Event Description
Empower yourself in this “field-to-table” workshop. Learn the art and science of processing fresh masa as we transform locally-grown organic corn into an important staple food. Advice on growing good tortilla corn will also be provided. Due to limited space, registration is required for this workshop. Please call to ensure space is available, then mail the registration fee to 741 River Road, Lynden, WA, to reserve your spot.

Yes, we do apologize. Half the information I entered in the original class description didn't seem to make it into the post. Thank you, Penny. I got your phone message. We decided to add a $5 discount for carpooling to encourage fossil fuel reduction, so it will be $15 each for you and Jeanie if you drive together.

The fee is $20 for each workshop (Local Tortillas on Nov 6 and Local Gluten-Free Baking on Nov 13), which includes ingredients and eating the final products! Or do both workshops for $35.

No additional fee, just looking for folks to folks to commit by sending in the $20 ahead of time to the address above. Give a call to let me know how many to expect, so we don't overbook (only room for ten max), and I can get you more specific directions as well.
