Join us at anytime throughout the evening.  

5:00 - 6:00 - Food and Seed Swap.  Bring preserved or fresh home-grown and/or home-processed food, seed, and other handmade items to swap.

6:00 - 7:00 - Potluck and Story telling with Harper Stone.  Musician, artist, and storyteller, Harper Stone, with banjo and guitar in hand, will be sharing illuminating tales of darkness and change.

7:00 - 8:00 - Mason bee class.  Naturalist. Chuck Nafziger, will give a quick review of local pollinators before focusing on mason bees, what to expect from them, and simple ways to supply habitat to encourage them to take up residence.  A limited number of mason bees will be given away.

8:15 - Lighting the Dark with Fire Sculpture

This is a Chuckanut Transition event.  We are a group of folks building resilient community within the Samish Watershed. We believe all hope lies in our ability to connect with place and with one another.  Essentially, by becoming indigenous to our watershed, we are creating lives that are more meaningful, healthy and joyful.  Please join us!
